Production Systems, Inc. was founded in 1972 after the organization of Air Power in 1967 by William A. Ball in High Point, North Carolina. Mechanical installation services of ovens and spray booths as provided by Binks and DeVilbiss was typical business throughout the 70’s and 80’s. Capabilities expanded with sheet metal and steel fabrication of finishing systems equipment complemented with electrical controls. Uniquely experienced sales staff worked with customers and material suppliers to determine production requirements for finishing product given plant floor space, operational procedure and finishing schedule

Production Systems traditionally catered to wood finishes in the furniture, cabinet and housing industry, working with the customer and material supplier to provide finishing systems, comprising of tow line conveyor systems, in floor and on floor with close packing conveyor carts, overhead conveyor, spray booths, flash tunnels, ovens and make up air systems. In addition, Production Systems installed bulk storage and pump rooms, pioneering the installation of steel / stainless steel tubing for circulating lines from pump rooms to spray booths outfitted with air and fluid regulators for spray guns.

Production Systems is presently an original equipment manufacturer and integrator of custom finishing systems. Sales staff designs finishing systems for woods, metals and plastics in any industry. Diversified finishing system solutions are provided with experienced conceptual layout, design and integration of many types of finishing system equipment. Project management, mechanical installation control wiring, start up, training and service of finishing systems equipment are integral parts of our business.
